There will be changes to the all River Forest Parking lots taking effect Sunday, July 1, 2018. Please pay close attention to the Commuter lot changes, as they not only affect rates, but designation of spaces and payment option. The changes are outlined below, along with a map of the affected areas.
As of Sunday, July 1, 2018 the following changes to Village of River Forest parking lots permitted usage and rates will go into effect. Changes in rates will affect all River Forest owned parking lots.
CHANGES TO PARKING FEES
- Daily Parking Rate - $5.00 per day
- Monthly Commuter Parking Pass (Day only - available to RF residents) - $45 per month
- Monthly Overnight Parking Pass (Night only - available to RF residents) - $55 per month
- Monthly 24-hour Parking Pass - $100 per month

CASH PAYMENT BOXES ARE BEING ELIMINATED
Payment must be made by using Passport Parking. Daily parkers should create an account by downloading the Passport Parking smartphone app from the Apple Store or Google Play. CHANGES TO DESIGNATION OF SPACES IN PARKING LOTS

- East Thatcher lot near the Depot – The north row of parking spaces will be designated for 24-hour use ONLY. The middle two rows of spaces will continue to be used for monthly commuter and overnight permit spaces.
- West Thatcher lot – This parking lot will be designated only for Monthly Commuter permit holders. Daily Parking spaces will no longer be available at any time in the West Thatcher lot.
There will continue to be Daily Parking available along both Central and Hawthorne Avenues.
