The Village of River Forest Police Department has promoted Dan Dhooghe to the rank of Deputy Chief. Deputy Chief Dhooghe has served with the River of Forest Police Department for 27 years, most recently in the position of Commander. He was formally sworn in at the March 12, 2018 Village Board of Trustees meeting.
