The Villages of River Forest, Oak Park and Broadview are launching the Cross-Community Climate Collaborative (C4) with a Memorandum of Understanding signing at Triton College on June 23, 2022 at 1pm.
The Cross-Community Climate Collaborative (C4) is designed to bring together BIPOC and non-minority communities across income lines to share ideas, secure resources and drive large scale projects within and across communities that achieve agreed upon greenhouse gas emissions reductions, equity and sustainability goals. The project supports disinvested and resourced communities in West Suburban Cook County through a unique collaboration that prioritizes goal attainment and metrics on a timeline regarding the climate crisis, equity and sustainability.
River Forest Village President Cathy Adduci, Broadview Mayor Katrina Thompson and Oak Park Village President Vicki Scaman are holding a MOU signing ceremony on June 23, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm at Triton College.
