A Special E-News Message from the Village President, Catherine M. Adduci

Dear River Forest Residents,

The United Center vaccination site, which is set to open Wednesday, March 10, is now allowing only City of Chicago residents to register for vaccine appointments. Please note that appointments already secured by suburban Cook County residents over the past several days will be honored. River Forest residents can continue to register to receive the vaccine at alternative locations here, or by calling 833-308-1988 weekdays from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. You can also visit this link for the statewide vaccination location finder. The Village will continue to update residents as new information becomes available regarding vaccine availability and locations.

Also, the CDC has issued guidelines today for individuals who are or will be fully vaccinated. To be considered fully vaccinated, two full weeks must have passed since you received the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or since you received the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
