A Special E-News Message from the Village President, Catherine M. Adduci
COVID-19 UPDATE
August 27, 2020
Dear River Forest Residents,
Masks Required for Indoor and Outdoor Dining
Earlier this week, Governor Pritzker announced new guidelines effective immediately for restaurants and bar establishments to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. These latest guidelines will require patrons to wear a mask during any interaction with wait staff, food service workers and other employees at bars and restaurants throughout the state. Face coverings must be worn over the nose and mouth when patrons are approached and served by staff, including but not limited to when employees take patrons orders, deliver food and beverages, and service tables. Face coverings must be worn except when eating and drinking at the table or bar. Click here to read the new guidelines in full and click here to read the press release.
Please make sure to bring your mask when you support restaurants in the community. These new requirements help us all dine safely and are vital to protect restaurant workers and other patrons. And remember - it only works if you wear it.

Flu shots are available in River Forest at Walgreens, CVS, and Jewel.
