Face coverings are required to be worn by anyone in a River Forest essential business as of Tuesday, April 28. Beginning on Friday, May 1, Governor Pritzker has required that individuals in Illinois wear a face covering when in a public place where they can’t maintain a six-foot social distance including all public indoor spaces, such as stores.
Making your own face covering is quick and easy. Face coverings do not need to be elaborate and include non-medical grade masks, homemade face coverings, scarves, bandanas or handkerchiefs.
