The Village of River Forest expresses its sympathies for the families of the four victims in Monday's tragic shooting on the CTA Blue Line. Thank you to all the CTA employees and public safety professionals that responded to the scene, including our own patrol officers.
The Village is grateful that a suspect has already been arrested and charged in this case. The incident appears to be isolated with no further threat to the community.
