Dementia Friendly River Forest, in conjunction with the Oak Park Movie Program, will be hosting a “no-shush” screening of It’s a Wonderful Life on Wednesday, December 18, 1:00 p.m., at the Classic Cinemas Lake Theatre in Oak Park – 1022 Lake Street. As a “no-shush” film, those with Dementia and their caregivers are allowed to enjoy the experience of a movie in a supportive setting. The event is free of charge and is open to all ages and abilities. Thanks to the Center for Gerontology at Chicago University Chicago for sponsoring this event.
