Help River Forest celebrate Earth Day this Saturday!
River Forest is celebrating Earth Day Saturday, April 27 with these events:
The Park District is hosting the annual Des Plaines River and Thatcher Woods Clean-up from 8am-10am, rain or shine. More information and registration available here.
The Sustainability Commission is hosting compost pickup for curbside composting participants. The finished product will be available all day at the Metra Commuter East Lot (the Depot). Bring your own bucket! Visit www.vrf.us/curbside-composting for more information about the program and to sign up.
