Beginning in 2015, Village of River Forest Historic Preservation Commissioner Al Popowits compiled research and photographs to give presentations at the River Forest Public Library on the architectural and historic nature of noteworthy structures throughout River Forest. These well received presentations have now been preserved and made available as on demand videos. The Historic Preservation Commission believes the best way that River Forest can preserve its strong architecturally and historically significant properties is to educate the public through efforts like this.
