As previously shared by the Village, the Illinois Department of Transportation began a Thatcher Avenue resurfacing project in early August with tree and curb removal. The Village has now been notified that IDOT has updated its tentative work schedule. It is anticipated that pavement milling will begin later this week with resurfacing to take place throughout October, weather permitting. IDOT expects to conclude the project in early November. Please, exercises caution and obey special signage in this area.
