The Village of River Forest is hosting a Community Meeting for a potential on-street extension of the Des Plaines River Trail (DPRT) on Thatcher Avenue within the Village limits from North Avenue to Madison Street. This is part of a larger Phase I Engineering Study of the DPRT that extends from Touhy Avenue to the Illinois Prairie Path. The purpose of this meeting is to present the proposed improvement plans and provide an opportunity for public comment.
