The Death Gap: How Inequality Kills with Dr. David Ansell
11am-12pm

Dr. David Ansell's 2017 book, The Death Gap: How Inequality Kills, argues that inequality is a devastating disease that must be treated like any other major illness. He unpacks the root causes of the thirty-five year difference in life expectancy between America?s poorest and sickest neighborhoods and the country's wealthiest and healthiest. Dr. Ansell goes straight to the heart of the
matter by "laying] bare the structural violence - the racism, economic exploitations, and discrimination - that is really to blame."
